Irish PUB field 10th Anniversary
Some Message
Andy Irvine
Dear Su-san, Thanks for having such a wonderfully welcoming place as "Field"!
The pub must have been quite new when I first went there in Sept 2000 but what a welcome we got then!
It has been a great place for music and pints ever since and I am really looking forward to enjoying it's delights in February.
Congratulations Mr Suzaki on your first 10 years!!
Love from Andy
Hi Suzaki san,
I wish I could be there for the 10th anniversary party! I have seen many changes in 10 years. But Pub Field has been a "constant" in each of my visits, as each time I met some new fantastic player.
One year it was Kanugi san, then Taro san, and every year after I would come to Field and there would be another amazing musician I was meeting for the first time.
So your pub has been a "breeding ground" for new Irish musicians!
And, a valuable meeting place for people to come and meet new musicians, share and play tunes together, and even take classes to learn more about Irish music and improve their skills.
I am also very glad, as quickly as places come and go, that Pub Field has generated plenty of interest to keep going since then.
Ten years is a long time!A May it continue as long as there are musicians who want to play good Irish music! Dale Russ

Suzaki San,
Last autumn, I'm sorry we did not get to visit you and have a few tunes in The Field but I'm very happy that you are celebrating ten years....Omedeto ! I hope to make it back to Japan next year and when I am in Kyoto I will certainly come and have a pint with you to celebrate. Have a great party on the 24th !
All the best
Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh (Altan)
The field Pub welcomed Altan with open arms when we first visited Kyoto 10 years ago.
Happy Birthday
We hope to visit soon
